Helmeted thief with gun robs Kerobokan convenience store, police investigating
Police say a masked thief with a gun robbed an Alfamart in Kerobokan, North Kuta, on Sunday evening and took millions of rupiah from the convenience store’s cashier.
According to a report from Tribun-Bali, the thief, who wore a motorcycle helmet, had loitered in front of the store for some time before heading inside and pointing what appeared to be a gun to the cashier.

Mount Agung briefly erupts again, officials maintain volcano’s ‘standby’ status
Bali’s Mount Agung erupted again at 12:12pm today, sending a moderate plume of ash as high as 1,000 meters above the volcano’s peak, Indonesia’s Volcanology and Geological Disaster Mitigation Center (PVMBG) said shortly after the eruption.

5.2-magnitude earthquake hits south of Bali, officials say tremors felt only in Gianyar
The Bali Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) said that the 5.2 magnitude earthquake which struck the south coast of Bali yesterday evening, was only felt in Gianyar regency following an islandwide assessment that was conducted shortly after the quake.

Bangli Police are investigating a case of domestic violence in the regency involving a 58-year-old woman, Ni Ketut Tampi, who was allegedly beaten with a saw by her own husband, I Ketut Jerman, merely because their grandson had refused to sit on Jerman’s lap.
