The chief of Bali Health Agency said those who refuse to be inoculated against COVID-19 in the province will not be fined, as Indonesia begins its mass vaccination program this week.

Bali saw another record-breaking daily tally yesterday with 350 COVID-19 cases, bringing the provincial total closer to 20,000 amid new restrictions to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

“Today [Jan. 12] 350 people were confirmed positive [for COVID-19], this is the highest number of positive cases since the pandemic hit in Bali,” chief of Bali Health Agency, Ketut Suarjaya, said.
